N Scale and N Gauge Modular Fiddle Yard.

Some people would be asking the difference between N Scale and N Gauge.  N Scale is the worldwide scale, using 9mm track whixch gives a scale of 1:160.  N Gauge is only used in the UK and still uses 9mm track but a scale of 1:148.  This does mean that the track gauge is too narrow for prototypical running.

The fiddle yard has been designed to allow multiple sets of front boards to be built around it.  At present the club have only built the Canadian scenery boards. It's hope to have a British set of boards to complement these .

Work on the fiddle yard is continuing, albeit at a slow pace, due to the complexity of the wiring.  It has to be wired for analogue and digital operation.
